April 14, 2008. I recently delivered the keynote speech for two different distributors/suppliers along with doing a book signing of my HVAC Spells Wealth book. Johnson Supply, with locations over much of Texas and a portion of Louisiana, entertained their customers (a huge group) in Galveston, TX and put on a great show. Several quality training sessions were presented and there were numerous vendors set up with their displays. That evening during a fine meal short presentations were made by Richard Cook, the Company’s President, and Andy Roland, York’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Following my keynote speech the evening ended with numerous awards being presented to the dealers.

Next was Famous Supply Company with their annual dealer meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, who also had a large group of customers. Famous, an Armstrong distributor and a supplier has locations over much of Ohio and portions of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. This was a two day event with training sessions, vendor displays, lots of fun and short presentations by some of the Famous Supply executives including Marc Blaushild, the President. Once again, I signed the HVAC books and delivered the keynote speech. Famous is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year! Congratulations to Famous Supply.

The point I really want to make is how much I was impressed with both Famous Supply Company and Johnson Supply! Why? Because they are aware and fully recognize the many changes taking place in our industry and are seriously helping their customers understand, prepare for and seize the opportunities presented with those changes.

Next, I’ll be signing my HVAC books and delivering the keynote speech, as well as a separate training session, for ACCA-Arizona. Then, I present a residential service agreement training session for the dealers of Dale Supply in Nashville, TN. Later, later I’ll be speaking to the Kansas City local ACCA chapter.
